Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
(a) The Hirer may cancel a booking but may forfeit any hire fees paid as follows: (i) If the booking is cancelled up to 7 days before the event date, Day For It will make a full refund of all hire fees paid; (ii) Bookings cancelled or item quantities reduced within 5 days of the event date will forfeit 10% of the total hire fee.
(b)The Hirer has the opportunity to reschedule the booking up to 5 days prior to the original event date due to reasons including; personal illness, weather, or acts of global restrictions.
(c) Day For It reserves the right to reschedule a booking if it is a safety risk to deliver or set up equipment, in the case of extreme weather conditions such as torrential rains, hail, strong winds, flooding, extreme thunderstorms, earthquake or an area being restricted from access due to a terrorist attack or COVID-19 outbreak. Should we not be able to deliver at a later time on the event date, we will happily work with the Hirer to reschedule on a mutually agreeable date. Should the event have to be cancelled for one of these reasons and your event can’t be rescheduled to another time at that stage, a credit of 50% of the original booking can be applied for a future booking.
(d)In the event that a credit is applied to a booking granted by management, the customer has 6 months to use this credit from the time of the original booking. Bookings scheduled with food provided by our caterers are subject to the caterers cancellation policy for all food and beverage fees itemised within the invoice.
